The One Layer Collab The One Layer Collab

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars January 16, 2008

Yummy...

Wow, I loved this! Its was great, all the animations flowed amazingly well and the music you used at the start was great, it fit in so well!

Everyone seems to be amazed that you did it in one layer, some don't believe any of you did, but (Sorry if I sound dis-respectful) using one layer isn't difficult. I always used to do it, using groups instead of layers. Sure, layers are much better, but a similer effect can be done with groups. Nevetheless, I still couldn't have done something as great as this, my drawing/snimation skills are absaloute zero :P

Anyway, great work, the 'one layer' thing makes it just that little bit better tho :P!

LOL

Love this, its REALY good! You have to make more than four tho. Try and get some other people in there though, like in TSAH. It would be GREAT! If your a Halo fan, you'll LOVE this!

NOTE: You should be proud. Really proud. The ledgendry Frankie of Bungie has actually posted a link to this on the Bungie front page (bungie. net). Give yourself a pat on the back ;)

Waaaah :(

This looked realy interesting but it won't LOAD! The bar rise's very fast the suddenly jumps back to the start and starts going really slowly. Thenn it just stops, well before the half-way mark. My computer and my internet connection are okay, I never usually have problems with any flash. I've even tried playing it from a pop-up and the main site, justdoes the same thing :(
If you could just add a 'Play' button that can be clicked even when the movie is loading, that would be great.
I'm sure the movie itself is really good (Many good reviews), Its just that I can't see it :(

Nice concept but...

I really didn't like it. It was good idea but I don't think you did it justice. It could have done with some power-ups (Especialy an Extra Life or something) and maybe you could have bought more than just weapons at the shop (Such as armour, special items).
The controls were simple yet confusing. I think it would be easier if you gave the player some freedom to control the 'ship' as the please. *(Of course you would have to make it pointey so the player know's which direction they're facing)
So, cood idea, badly done. I think you should get a few other guys to help make a new one.

A)You could learn some cool stuff to stick in the next Ninja Rampage
B) Its bloody good :P

Nice work!

Dress a Luma! Dress a Luma!

Rated 4 / 5 stars December 19, 2007

Lol

I've never played SMG (The GAME not the gun...) and, as I havn't got a Wii, (And don't plan on getting hold of one) probally won't. BUT, this little dress-up game you've got going here is great. There are, as usual, some things you could change...

*Its huge. Make it just that little smaller, because it doesn't even fit onto the pop-up screen. It'll also make the file size smaller (Not that its especially large, but hey)

*The speech bubble is annoying! I think its a great idea you've got but I think it needs a bit of changing. Start the game off with the bubble invisible. Add a button which changes it to visible, to draw-onable, back to just visible and then invisible and so on. that way we could turn it off if we don't like it, move it around and not mess it up by mmistake on 'visible mode' and actually draw on it on 'draw-onable mode'. :P

*ADD MORE STUFF! everything you've got so far is great: detailed, fun. However, you really need to make them (And the model) smaller so you actually can fit more on. Another idea is to make one item and have its colour change each time you click on it. I've seen this idea in a few games and while its slightly annoying, I can see why people have used it.If you use this, you won't need to fill up space with one of every colour. :P

Well, I'll leave you with that. But arpart from a few probs, this is great. You never know, if you improve you may make it onto front page! Theres always a chance..

Nami-Oki responds:

Wow thank you for such an extensive look on it... I really like the feedback you gave, and I appreciate the time you took to write all this. Just like what I thought was wrong with it, you agree.. Lol I guess that means I should work a little harder on it ^_^. Thank you again!
